The Eucharistic sun, her sacrament
sang a canticle of praise as she rose
and as she rose she brought bouquets of fragrant flowers to offer You
she raised  both hands and praised You, God...

The fields were filled with many ships sailing across the way
emerald green sea, O reminds me of Jesus sailing through the seas of Galilee...
while her spirits lift, she sang Him praise in glee
The leaves which gathered round
glory once held gold and green now no longer proud
lain upon its death bed now, crisp of brown and lean
its skin crisp as the sun trod upon each one...
Reminding man how brief life can be

The Eucharistic sun, globe magnificent
Yet her light cannot exist
if Christ does not make it so
She but makes it reflect His glorious might
She remind man how His love can shine

Garden secret, meek and mild
hiding here, a hurting child
would you give me alms and give me solace
for my humanity betrays me
for my humanity cries out to Yahweh God

O I have been traveling far and my shoes are worn out
My spirit's grief is not yet given in
but I give in to sadness as it is my constant sin
that I weep and weep
O pity upon me Lord, a stubborn sheep
see Your servant wound and weep!

Yet You remind me that You prune those whose names You call and desire to save
Yet You remind me sadness is but brief for You won my soul in Calvary
that one day we be reunited, You and me
that one day we be reunited You and me
that I may fall prostrate and hail You King forever
and bring You praise of glory
forever more...

What have I done that may measure to Your sufferings for my sake?
None that I have done!
What have I done that may measure to Your offerings to God Father for my sake?
To gain me pardon and make me child again to Father God
You groaned in my sins!
You moaned in my pains
and carried my burden upon a cross
You bore my humiliation with the crown You wore with thorns

O Jesus Lord,
I am flesh and blood and I am nothing more
if You do not dwell in me
I am flesh and blood and I can do nothing more
if You do not assist me so...

That I turn to You
Yahweh God
You alone reign with the Father and Spirit as the Triune God.
and yet in essence You are also You

O Jesus Lord, I have no rest
if I cannot recourse to Your breast
Sacred Lover, God Divine
Shepherd, King, Priest and offering for sins of man
Creator God, Hands that wove the world into being
Hands that mould me into life

What am I if You do not claim me Yours?
I am merely dust and ash
in a vessel that would one day cease its purpose...

O Jesus Lord,
I am flesh and blood and I am nothing more
if You do not dwell in me
I am flesh and blood and I can do nothing more
if You do not assist me so...

Roses fall at Your feet
and they worship You where You walk

Skies of blue, chalked with white
plain with dull
solemn in silence
yield to the winds
who sighs and sings
as she carries herself across the fields so wide
Cherry red, robust wine
pour from the skies
whose skin is tempered from the heat of the sun
she bleeds of red and tinges in the juice of tangerine
squeezed from the heat of the sun-yea

Sing Jesus sing
a song for me
to hear
that I may feel Your sweet gentle voice
and drink it as though it were Sacred Wine from the Grail
to taste Your lips, soft and red, as blood and rose
to taste Your lips, O God, O God of Hosts- is Heaven
perchance it be too bold

Lovers are as flowers bloom
as petals repose upon petals
and unfolds its skin as it sheathes
from its virgin bud
wine of spring
song of life
singing as she uncurls to greet the world
jewel, pearls and treasures of the simple
drunk with innocence, filled with pleasure
caught in scrutiny of those who passes by
to gaze at her and to give her name
then discard her to their liking
how careless the hands of man
how careless the hearts of man
that it should discard a precious gem such as this...

Hasten Lord, to come to my aid
for my spirit drooping and soul wears thin
for You know how sore I am from lacking grace
Lift my head, and my burden
that I may see Your Holy face...
fill me then, I pray with Your boundless grace
and kiss me full that I may taste
Your love that I may consume it wholly
and feel it caress my soul again...
that I may feel once again the warmth of the sun
washing over my face
with Baptismal grace....

O Jesus, my soul calls out to You...

I totally agree! I just read three of your newest poems, and I'm glad I did. My heart fills up with praise reading this. :) Praise God! I love your use of imagery, and how you captured it so beautifully, and the way you described the colors, and just... Ahh!! You're really really good! >o< I love reading these and I hope to read more~~ And I'll be praying for you as well.
