The sun had dipped her face into a basin
baptised with water and lathered with soap
strands of hair clung to her face and her breast was heaving with a sigh
which said she felt renewed...

Jesus was sitting on a hill that day
where the sun had began to comb her hair and this- made flowers drop from her strands of hair
like from a garland placed upon a virgin bride

He sat so still I wondered why
He was gazing at the still blue skies
I picked my curiosity and sailed through the green seas
His thoughts I felt was dancing free
like the way His hair was waltzing with the wind

I saw Him there with tunic holy white
yea, white as His purity and divinity
the Lord Jesus Christ
He gazed upon the skies unlike any man
He looked upon it with childlike wonder...
and this I could see was blazing in His eyes

There were distant sounds of white cotton flock of sheep
somewhere in a distant within Jesus' keep
where their wants and desiring are no more
for plenty was before them to graze and river streams fresh, clean to drink...

I came up to where He was sitting and He stirred like a leaf upon a branch
He turned and gazed at me and said
"Come sit down and join Me...."

I sat beside Him as He moved a little for me
I sat closer still for I desired closer still with Him...
He grabbed me with an arm and then
hugged me and I felt His warmth...

His muscular arm strong and just
As I felt embraced Him I felt the firm foundation of His body
like the Gospels which He preaches and which streams within the blood vessels of His flesh
I sought His counsel and this He could see
"What's on your mind?"
My reply had fled with the sigh of the wandering wind...
He waited still for me to respond ....

"My child....do not distress
am I not here with you?
I have your name written upon the palm of My hand...
with trials and struggles ah...many do not understand
the greater meaning within them when man conquers them...
even in the continual suffering moans and groans remind man of
what I went through when I carried all man's sins upon the cross
I tell you, it was no walk in the park..."

I yearn so much to touch Him
and so much more to hold Him
to have Him kiss me and embrace me so
to kiss His lips and be quenched of a thirst which I endure

"I told you, love, that I shan't leave you as orphans
are not My words firm and good?
I shall lead you always to pastures green
and fill your heart and soul with satisfaction beyond belief...
ah...sorrow thy songs though thy wail and mourn but ah...know that it be brief
though brief seems longer than I said it brief...
how can wine taste good without preservation...
stand firm in the faith and trust in Me
no good deed nor effort goes unrewarded in My eyes
I shall be with you
and know this...love...
You shall always find
Me waiting for you at the end of the narrow gate..."

Very nice writing..
I have noticed something in your literature.. you seem to start with unrhyming sentences and then slowly move towards things rhyming. It could just be me, and I do love your work a lot, but I feel like your words should flow better if you rhyme them all, or none. Reading it for me personally, is sometimes choppy around the time that it starts rhyming, etc. :)
Thank you for understanding.. And I love the parts where you write words that are said by Jesus. Very peaceful and calming. Really lets us feel our relationship with God.
Wonderful work ^_^
