A priest was mounted upon an altar
bearing witness to a sacrifice
His arms outstretched, cried out "Abba (Father)"
Three prophetic times
His armor bore no trace of fury
nor His word stains of soldier's blood
and yet right here where the priest reside
a blood stained king who laid as man's
perfect offering- Our Lord Jesus Christ

My Lord, my Lord was all I could say
to watch Him hang for my disobey
and yet as He dip His head into the broth of light
still gazed at me with loving sight
His breath was short and His eyes were dazed
His flesh weighed with lashings now bloodied
and disgraced
still He whispered in a loving way
"Come, closer that I may see your face."

I was withdrawn for I knew indeed
I was selfish, proud and sin unto mine soul
too high a degree
Yet He spoke at a gentle pace
"Do come into the light that I may see your face"

I shook in agony
crooked with fear
for I knew if I drew near
He would surely see that I in despair
made numerous grave human sins
He remained quite still
nailed hands and feet
His head hung low in worn defeat
still His lips pursued in prayer
and persistence of "Let me look at thee"

Then an angel pure and holy
from Heaven's realm stood
He, too, gentle, kind and good
smiled sweet and peacefully
whispered; "Go, the Master wants audience with you..."

Jesus of Nazarene, King of Jews
was laid upon a careless wood
a crown of thorns pierced His head as blood trickled down
all I could hear was faint, weak breathing gasping sounds

I stood an inch  closer to the light
as light gleamed and danced like shards
of diamond stones bright
then  when I stood enough for God to see
He smiled slowly,in a kind of victory

His lips were bruised
His skin was torn
His flesh was shred
and His hair caked with blood
in the grasp of the crown of thorns

His whisper soft like the winds
melodious as any Eucharistic hymn
His face shone with holy light
and said my God Elohim;

"A grain of wheat must first fall and die
in return to produce fruit
Now upon the rood the Son of Man
has achieved what the Heavenly Father has pursued

Trust in the Father
Trust in Me
have faith the size of a mustard seed
blessed are you then if you abide in faith with Me
you shall then be with Me in Heaven
some day indeed

Thus the hour passed and is
preceded by another and another thus shall be
the earth shall pass away indeed
but Heaven-I am eternal, yes, Me

I cast My deeds to the Father
so cast yours unto Him through Me
I am the Lord, I am your Saviour
in obedience to the Father see
How He claims glory and victory

Do not be ashamed
of yourself nor Me
but trust, trust in Me
as I have trusted you
be indeed in faith of Me
yes, trust in Me

I took the cross on Calvary
abolished sins and claim for you My Father's grace and mercy
As I have loved you
love others that they may see
you are the disciples
of the one true God and King

endure all crosses
and sufferings
in persecution s
in agony you shall see
that I am with you- I carry thee

if you do not bear trials and sufferings
how shall I measure your faith in Me?
to practise the gospel
to be more like Me

the world can never welcome you
for it never welcomed Me
You are chosen to follow Me
yes all of you are called
so blessed is he,
who does not cling to worldly things
but trust entirely in Me

Pray unceasing
do kind things, do good acts of mercy and plant My gospel seeds
that when you love and do what I instruct of thee
that all shall know you belong to Me

The hour's come
I've borne the burden now
unto the Father in Heaven
My soul succumb
Thy will is done
Abba, I surrender My spirit
to Thee Father Heaven it is done.
"

In reminisce of what He, Jesus did was the fallen wheat grain
He fell and died
but rose again
produce entirely
much more than precious, or the past precede

When you suffer, seek the cross
Jesus laid pinned to die
so that all may not be lost
surrender to Him
do all your best

suffer still even holocaust
for mercy and gospel
stay stout in faith and learn
from our Sovereign Lord and God

Look at Him
God on the cross
perfect love made whole
all because
God send His only begotten So
to heal the world of sins

So now what say you
let us rise once more
dust our knees
and pick up our cross
to follow once again, Jesus Christ the Lord

The cross blood stained
still stand erect
My God dead three days
now resurrect
Follow Him and abide in His ways
that we may be in reunion with Him one day

There was light which rested upon the right arm of our Lord upon the crucifix and in my mind I felt as though I was there, with the rest of the people who witnessed God's sacrifice for our sins.

Then I imagine, a couple of birds, twittering in a kind of soft and gentle song, flew by and rested upon His right arm. In the midst of affliction, even then Jesus would turn to smile at the birds. As the same He would do to those who must've gazed at Him upon the foot of the cross.

I remembered the parable of the mustard seed which would sprout to a tree and bearing shade and shelter for the birds. I saw Jesus as the tree.

The homily spoke of suffering and indeed suffering is necessary. For if we do not suffer, we do not grow in faith. If we do not suffer we do not know the measure of God's love and how He suffered for us on the cross.

Mother Teresa said that we must always choose the hardest, to do our best for Jesus because in the end, the affairs is not us and the world, but us and God.

How wonderful and merciful it is to know such a loving and wondrous God.

This Sunday's gospel spoke of a prophet not being welcomed in his home.

After what happened this morning and the annoying and ignorant questioning of my foster father about the responsibilities of a priest I came to realize, how much more I am in need of humility and faith in Jesus.

To accept being slighted and looked down upon is entering the narrow gate and to bow our head low as Jesus did for us.

surely, if Jesus bowed low, we as His disciples but bow lower, for His love so extravagant and true.

In contemplating about Jesus being a tree

This was what happened.

I was drawn to pray;

Fruit of the Spirit
Good and true
Help to trust entirely in You
in God the Father and God the Son
Three in essence
in Holy Union One

help me face adversities
and in them grow with faith to follow Thee
Help me Mother Mary pray for us we plead
and bring us closer to Jesus Christ and closer also to Thee

Mother Mary good and true
Mother of Mercy and Grace
Blessed by God's for your selfless virtue
pray for us that we may be
in Heaven with you to worship God eternally.

Amen.

It's so wonderful and mind blogging of what Jesus did for us. It really blows my mind when He forgives me each time. Truly the Lord is good to those who love Him
