The love of the Father

It's been a while
where is your smile?
Did the troubles of this world
shackle your lips from exclaiming joy
Did the sorrows of this world wound your heart
and so repress you from praying?
Did the world shatter you that your faith is now dwindling?

despite of my sins and shame
clothed my naked body with coloured robes
annoint my body with perfume and oil
You put upon my finger a golden ring
O my God You dance and sing for me

Angels above
saints and cherubs
all fall before Your throne
As flowers unfold
as flowers bring their fragrance into the air
so does my soul bring praises to You
from this unworthy lips of mine!
